This telemetry was originally added in bug 1614777. I've asked around and the people that were using the data no longer need it, and I've not found anyone else that is using it.
Hence we should be able to stop recording it.
(note: purposely filing in Core/Networking since that's where the bugs for adding the telemetry were originally filed).
